Bruce & Co. are delighted to announce the sale of Ma Petite France Bakery in Aberdeen.

Bruce & Co. are delighted to announce the sale of the former McKay’s Bakery business in Montrose, Angus.

The bakery business itself stopped trading back in 2013, and thus provided an excellent freehold development opportunity.

The property is in a terraced position set over the ground floor, which extends to circa 66 square meters. The premises came well fitted throughout, including a food preparation area, office and other staff facilities.

The sale presented an excellent opportunity for a new owner to establish their own bakery business, or utilise the premises for a number of other business ventures.

The vendors, Mr and Mrs McKay, decided to place the business on the market due to their retirement. Following 3 viewings and 2 offers, the business was sold to a confidential buyer on a freehold basis. The buyer’s reason for the purchase is to relocate their existing business into the premises as it is said to be a good fit.

Mrs McKay comments: “I was very happy with the marketing and coverage of the business. I received regular updates on the sale, and liked that. I would recommend Bruce & Co. to others.”

Safa Sultan, Sales Negotiator at Bruce & Co. commented: “I’m pleased that we have sold the premises, allowing Mr and Mrs McKay to retire. I look forward to seeing what Mrs McGraw has in store for the premises.”
