Kirkapol House is Now Under New Ownership

Bruce & Co. has sold this well-respected guest house in Isle of Tiree, Argyll and Bute.

Occupying its rightful place at the heart of this Inner Hebridean island, Kirkapol house has been owned and operated by the current proprietor for over 20 years.

The house began its life as a Victorian Church, dating back to the 1860s. Located in the centre of Gott bay, to the east of the island, this historic property occupies an idyllic position on this picturesque island.

Kirkapol has seen guests visit from around the world, boasting a provision of 6 luxury en-suite letting bedrooms. It is well presented and comfortable throughout.

The guest house trades all year round and holds a number of awards and complimentary reviews on TripAdvisor and Google.

Over the last 2 decades of expert ownership by the previous vendors, Kirkapol has undergone a significant amount of reinvestment.

It has undergone continuous renovation and redevelopment projects, transforming it the luxurious and comfortable guest accommodation.

The business is a true cornerstone, operating at the centre of this close community, with 2 decades of experience providing comfortable accommodation for both local residents and passers-by.

Arriving at the conclusion that it was now time for them to enjoy a hard-earned retirement, the vendors decided to place the business onto the market.

Bruce & Co. facilitated the sale of this highly-respected business. Once they brokerage team brought the business to market, the business sold relatively quickly.

After just 1 viewing and 1 offer, the business sold to an eager first-time buyer. The buyer desired to move to the island and to use the property as their residential home.

The vendor commented;

“The experience has been very satisfactory and very efficient, and Sophie has been pleasant to deal with, I am very happy with everything and I would recommend Bruce & Co.”

The buyer commented;

“It was a pleasure working with Sophie, the transaction was very smooth with no hiccups. The service from Sophie has been excellent, I have bought and sold many houses, and this has been the best experience. I will definitely recommend Bruce & Co.”

Lead Negotiator Sophie Jakeman commented;

“It has been excellent working with the buyer and the vendor. I am glad the sale has completed, and would like to wish both the buyer and the vendor the best of luck for the future.”
