Whistlelfield Inn Loch Eck Dunoon Sold

A couple are looking forward to retirement after selling their much-loved business with Bruce & Co.

Mr & Mrs Divine were delighted to receive 3 viewings for the Whistlefield Inn, Dunoon after going to market with Bruce & Co. The successful offer came from an experienced operator, who was able to strike a deal with the vendor in 5 months.

With 8 letting rooms and a manager’s apartment, Whitefield Inn is a characterful property with ample commercial space including a restaurant, a public bar, a snug and a lounge.

Dating back to the 1663, the property occupies a prime location overlooking the stunning Loch Eck. The cellar dates back even earlier to the 1400s and has been featured on the BBC’s ‘House Detectives’, a television programme exploring the secret history of period properties.

Commenting on the service provided, the Vendor Mrs Divine said:

“I was impressed with the service received from Bruce & Co.  Alistair kept me updated regularly on my sale and I will not hesitate to recommend Bruce & Co to my friends & family.”

Sales Negotiator Alistair Watt said:

“I am very pleased to have completed the sale of this business and I wish Mr & Mrs Devine well in their retirement and the buyers good luck in their new venture.”
