Bruce & Co. Are Excited to Announce the Sale of The Fife Restaurant

This excellent restaurant in Banff, Aberdeenshire has now been sold.

The Fife Restaurant was a truly unique sale, and the conclusion of a journey for the vendor. Over the years, this substantial and commanding property has hosted an almost infinite number of clients over the years, providing warm accommodation and outstanding cuisine. The restaurant also features a luxurious owner’s accommodation, providing excellent shelter and a comfortable home. Positioned in a prime trading location, The Fife Restaurant was a popular hotspot for tourists, receiving excellent reviews and attracting customers from afar.

Unfortunately, due to complications with the restaurant’s tenants, the restaurant became vacant. This greatly concerned the vendor. Unsure of what to do with the vacant business, he decided that this was the right time to sell the business. The vendor approached Bruce & Co to handle the sale. This brokerage firm has decades of experience in facilitating a wide range of sales, so they were not fazed by the vendor’s situation.

Stephen Croft from Bruce & Co. worked hard to get the vendor a positive result to his situation, and he recommended the vendor an experienced solicitor, adept at handling this sort of situation with clarity. The buyer was greatly impressed with the solicitor Steve recommended. The assistance and advice proved to be invaluable, and their help ultimately accelerated the deal process.

Once on the market, the restaurant received 3 viewings and 6 offers. The successful bid came from an experienced restaurateur, with one other restaurant in their chain. Attracted to the business due to its location and price, they aim to incorporate the business into their expanding restaurant group, and they will renovate and re-open the restaurant.

Stephen Croft and Bruce & Co. got the vendor the sale, and the vendor was delighted. His concerns were definitively silenced, and thanks to Bruce & Co. he now looks forward to pursuing his other business interests.

The vendor commented;

“I am delighted with the service from Bruce & Co. I always received regular updates from Steve. I am happy to achieve a freehold sale from a cash buyer, which enabled a swift completion.”

“I was assisted by the panel solicitor Jackie Ireland, recommended to me by Bruce & Co. I was very impressed by her”

The buyer commented;

“I am happy with the service. The purchase moved swiftly to completion, and I can now start the renovations. I would recommend Bruce & Co. to sell a business.”.”

Lead Negotiator Stephen Croft commented;

“I was especially pleased to be able to complete a sale for the vendor after his experience with his last tenants. The vendor was considering lots of options for the empty premises, so it was good to achieve a freehold sale to a cash buyer who was able to complete especially quickly. I had a good rapport with the vendor from the start and this was a big help in the process.”
