Kirn Variety Sold

A well-established former post office, convenience store and off licence has been sold to a first-time buyer, advised by the Altius Group.

Kirn Variety Store is in the small village of Kirn near town of Dunoon and was managed for the past 13 years by our client Mr D Sidhu.

The store closed in November 2020 due to Mr Sidhu relocating and purchasing a separate business. Kirn Variety Store originally sold a range of confectionery, alcohol, tobacco and newspapers, and was also a local post office.

The store was highly popular with the local residents and presented an opportunity for a buyer to acquire a well-established convenience shop with strong profit potential.

Mr Sidhu instructed the Altius Group in the sale of Kirn Variety Store. Our sales process and industry-leading expertise attracted four excellent offers for the business.

The successful purchaser is a first-time buyer who has plans to reinstate the shop back to its previous profits and to install a good reputation in the area.
