Union of Genius Sold to an Existing Operator

Union of Genius Café, located in the heart of Edinburgh city centre, has been sold to an existing operator in a deal facilitated by Bruce & Co.

Operating for over ten years, Union of Genius has established itself as an integral part of the Edinburgh community.  The café offers customers a range of homemade soups using the best local suppliers and sustainable practices. Ideally located near the University of Edinburgh and the National Museum of Scotland, the café is popular with locals, students and tourists alike, boasting a 4.5-star rating on Tripadvisor and an active social media following.

Offering quality, freshness and flavour in every meal they make, Union of Genius provides tasty meals while emphasising the importance of recycling, sustainability and helping those in need. They have donated thousands of litres of soup through various charities over the years, offering a soup delivery service during the Covid-19 lockdowns.

They will continue to offer soups and chillis alongside some new additions, just in time for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
