Post Office and convenience store, The Wee Market Shop in Edzell near Brechin, Angus, has been sold in a deal facilitated by retail business broker specialists Bruce & Co.
This thriving business enjoys a prominent trading position in the heart of the lovely village of Edzell and having been under the client’s ownership since 2001, has developed a strong presence within the local community and a loyal customer base.
With the owner planning to retire, Bruce & Co’s sales negotiator, Sarah Collins, identified the ideal buyer in the existing operator, VKS Retail Ltd.
Commenting on the sale, Sarah said: “I’m delighted to have helped my client achieve a successful sale after building up the business over more than two decades.
