Gourmet Grocery sold by Bruce & Co

Gourmet Grocery, a well-established grocery shop in Brechin has been sold to business operators, advised by Bruce & Co.

The business forms an integral part of the local community as the shop has been trading since 1920 and is frequently visited by residents as well as passing trade due to its location.

The high-quality produce and first-class service on offer has contributed to the success and generous turnover of the business which is increasing year-of-year.

The business was purchased by our clients, Henry and Wendy Lourdon, over 10 years ago and they placed the business to the market due to their wish to retire.

Bruce & Co were instructed in the sale of the grocery shop and our comprehensive marketing campaign resulted in six viewings, with Gourmet Grocery eventually being sold to existing business operators.

Kate and Andy, who have purchased the shop, said the location and reputation of business presented a new and exciting challenge for them.
