Glenavon Hotel sold to a Corporate Buyer

Glenavon Hotel located in Elgin was sold to a Corporate Buyer in a deal facilitated by Bruce & Co.

Glenavon Hotel is situated in one of the highest villages in the UK, Tomintoul is an iconic holiday destination, but also a popular access point between the northern and southern highlands.

The hotel operates from a substantial property built in the late 1800s and is ideally located between the River Avon and Conglass, the town is an ideal place to explore the Glenlivet Estate, Cairngorms National Park and Speyside Malt Whiskey Trail.

Glenavon Hotel comprises six ensuite letting rooms, a bar and restaurant including a function room and a two-bedroom owner’s accommodation.

Our client decided to sell Glenavon Hotel due to retirement. Commenting on the deal, our clients said in a statement to RDK that they were very happy with the service throughout including the knowledge and regular updates provided.

The buyer was attracted to Glenavon Hotel as they are relocating from the USA and know the area well. They intend to continue to run the business.
